Dr. Goldstein completed his undergraduate studies from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982. He received his doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1986. He also received certification in the treatment and management of ocular disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in 1986. Dr. Goldstein has been practicing in Westland, Michigan since 1990 with his wife Dr. Marcie Oleinick. He provides retinal, cataract, and glaucoma evaluations and fits many types of contacts including astigmatic, multifocal, and rigid gas permeable. He has traveled to Mexico with VOSH (Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity) to provide free eyecare for impoverished children. In 1996 he was awarded the Presidents Optometric Award within the Lenscrafters Corporation for the highest patient satisfaction.
